Selfish Money

I read a blog post recently that I can't stop thinking about, he challenged:
"You HAVE to spend a million dollars on yourself...."
  • KITCHEN
  • kitchen aid paddle attachment
  • matching silverware
  • knife set
  • medium and large pyrex glass bowls with lids
  • another set of white correlle dishes
  • food processor
  • vita-mix
  • LIVING ROOM
  • indoor playground (CedarWorks is my favorite)
  • area rug
  • sectional couch
  • desk area for computer stuff
  • a filing cabinet
  • STORAGE
  • a dresser for winter clothes (snow pants, hats, gloves, coats, socks)
  • shelves for various seasonal shoes (skates, snowshoes, sandals, boots, tennis shoes etc)
  • FUN
  • chariot with attachments (snow, bike, stroll, run)
  • cross country skis

  • Vitamix
  • a fully furnished condo OR a hotel suite w/ a kitchen we can stay in when we visit the Calls
  • my very own swimming pool big enough to swim laps complete with a line to follow on the bottom and a diving board and a cool slide
  • a trip to Australia that I never see the bill for, eat, sleep, play, tour and not choose any of that based on how much it costs, just do everything and anything and get the whole experience
  • a ranch style house with aforementioned swimming pool
  • a space dedicated to "create"
  • 10,000+ forever stamps, so I can send letters/cards/packages whenever I want
  • a tool shop
  • art classes of any kind and lots of them
  • carpenter classes
  • hire a carpenter to make all my furniture
  • own a vacation rental in Hawaii that I make enough money off of for upkeep and to visit it every year if I want to and gift stays at it to people I like
  • buy my parents a small house with a guest wing in it for me and my siblings to stay in when we visit (I'd do that for the Calls too if they didn't already love their house so much)
