2017 Family Goals

2017 Family Goals:
-Treat each other with kindness- help us like each other
-Scripture Study- Write scripture on chalkboard weekly, review at dinner
-Explore- At least once a month go explore somewhere new
-Be a Family - Family Home Evening, Dinners Together, Family Prayer

Dad
-Savor- Enjoy being alive, and all the little moments with family
-Reach out- To family and friends. Build meaningful relationships
-Figure out my foundational beliefs- lay them out- live by them
-Work hard at work. Be productive and get done what I need to.

Mom
-Light
  - Illuminate
  -Bring Warmth
  -Cleanse
  -
Also, make bread

Kaci:
-Become Strong and Flexible
-Learn Math Facts and Spelling
-Keep Room Clean
-Learn How to Cook (Monthly Desserts)

Forrest:
-Be nice and gentle - Learn to know and control his strength
-Learn to read
-Learn to tie shoes
-Get better at climbing

Radley:
-Learn to say words clearly
-Learn letters of his name, and copy them
-Read more books
-Learn to calm himself down when upset (manage emotions)

Family:
Embrace change- look for good possibilities in the future
Trust in God
Learn about bodies

Dad: 
Compassion - see others as God sees them
Openness- Be more open with thoughts, opinions, humor
Grace - handle situations with grace, think "big picture"
Trust in God- Be humble and have a good relationship

Mom:
Be more accepting and loving of self, "I am whole"
Be strong and flexible

Kaci:
Not yelling at brothers
Worry less/go with the flow

Forrest:
Learn the letters of the alphabet
More play dates 
Get rid of lateral lisp. 

Radley:
Say his words better 
Fewer freak outs

At least 12 Dates
Make an escape plan
Go on at least 3 fun vacations/staycations

Brad:
Be happy and have fun! Be someone I want to be around forever!
Weight of 175 by March 15, and keep it under that.  6 weeks of pushups/situps, and maybe pull ups

Kerri:
Whole 30!

Kaci:
Get better at reading/learn to read the scriptures
Keep room tidy
Learn cursive/ better at spelling
Don't fight with brothers

Forrest:
Get Dressed and Jammied by himself- actually do it regularly
Have a good attitude, even while doing things he doesn't want to

Radley:
Don't hit
Be done with bottle
Develop a big vocabulary

2011 Goals

Family:

Have family home evening every Monday night

Pay off student loans

Read scriptures as a family- scriptures in a Jar- weekly memorization

Temple every other month- set the dates

Go on dates at least every other month- without the kids


Kaci

To learn to play the piano, to learn to play the guitar

Learn to read

Learn to zip up a zipper

Learn to tie a shoe

Learn to swim with no floaties

Learn how to read more words

Forrest:

Learn animal signs and noises

Learn to talk

Learn to be potty trained

Daddy:

Read Book of Mormon, document all of the blessings linked to commandments- do at least 1 per day.

Mom: Order the ensign, and read it.
